How will Divine keep me updated and relay important information to me?
Upon engaging with Divine Fence, you agree to communicating via text, email, and phone per preference for any and all updates regarding estimates, projects, and repairs.
What will happen to my landscape? Is there any prep I have to do before install?
Landscape, underground pipes, sprinklers, electrical wires, cable, etc. are all the responsibility of the client. Including any & all debris prohibiting a safe work area & any unseen “thing” behind walls/stucco. Once the install is in progress Divine will do our best to place landscape back as it was, if there is an excessive amount of dirt, removal will be necessary. Overgrowth must be cleared at least 2’ on either side of the installation line. Any
trees or plants near the install line for the new fence must be cleared to a distance of 2’ of either side of the install line and cleared to a height of 6’. Unfortunately, we cannot remove tree stumps or roots.
How do I know where I can place my fencing/gates?
If you are unsure of your property lines, you should reach out to get your property lines marked. Make sure to take precautions to ensure that new fencing/gates is not encroaching onto neighboring properties and is in accordance with local building codes for setback requirements. All property lines should be properly located prior to installation.
What is the color process for iron products?
All of our iron products are powder coated locally. Powder coating covers the material with an epoxy powder, which is then heated to fuse into a protective layer. Though powder coating is the best option for iron color longevity, it is not 100% rust proof. We recommend purchasing a small amount of touch up paint for exposed/scratched areas and drying your fence after any water touches the product.
Do I need a permit for my fence/gate?
Permits for fencing are determined by jurisdiction. If installation requires a permit, Divine will factor the cost into the overall price and pull the permit accordingly. If permit is needed post contract signing, then it will be added as authorized change order.
I have an HOA, do I need to provide proof of their approval?
Yes, HOA approval of any kind is required for your properties fencing. You are required to obtain this prior to any fabrication or material ordering. Once this approval has been secured it should be sent to our office. Upon receipt, your project will move forward and the time frame will begin the day we receive the approval.
